Keep a copy of this on hand for reference the next time you’re wondering why your favorite film, series, music etc. is unavailable online, or hasn’t been issued on DVD yet, or simply hasn’t been seen/heard in years. It’s not “in rights” because somewhere, some person, institution or guild is holding up the show (as in with a weapon pointed at the bank teller).
